Our funeral song pick for 2023...

Go Rest High On That Mountain

Ready to know how we would like your music?

Thank you for preparing the music for the service for our team. Please ensure that the songs are burnt to a Music CD onto a blank (CD-R) OR alternatively on a USB (MP3 Format) in the order of the songs they will be played during the service.

Please make a minimum of two CD/USB copies as sometimes the music will be required in two places such as the cemetery and church/chapel.

We highly recommend buying all copies of music for both audio quality and reliability from reputable providers such as iTunes Store.

How many songs do I need for the service?

The best option will be to discuss this with your chosen funeral director as the amount and number of music tracks can depend on the chosen service & location but please see our personalised guide below.

For a service involving both a Church & following the Church a Committal service we recommend:

At the Church:

- Entry music/song for when the family enters the church.

- A song for reflection (this may be backing music for a slide show presentation or video)

- An exit song as the coffin or casket is being carried to the hearse.

At the Cemetery:

- A carry over song (to be played as the coffin bearers carry the coffin/casket to the graveside)

- A committal song (as the coffin/casket gets lowered into its final resting place).

This total's up to five separate song tracks, we highly recommend making two copies of your chosen music to enable one copy to go to the Church and one to go to the Cemetery. This helps a lot with testing & logistically. But we highly recommend discussing with your chosen funeral director to assist with ideas and guide you on the required amount of musical items for the specific funeral/memorial service.
