Our facilities at Corton Audio...
At Corton Audio's (Shepparton based) location we house a fully operational warehouse and office facility which is located in the heart of the Goulburn Valley region, it sits approximately 2-hours drive north of Melbourne and 2-hours drive south from Albury, NSW. Ultimately putting us central to almost all regional and urban locations in Victoria and from here we travel throughout Australia.
Once off shows, business or corporate events, band gigs through to night after night tours we can cater for your production needs.
Corton Audio's office and warehouse facility is where the "magic happens!" There is a hive of activity on a daily basis here, Our facility is stocked with high quality testing instruments, tools and apparatus enabling us to maintain our equipment in the most safest and timely manner. This includes testing equipment from names including Fluke & Wavecom Instruments.
We have dedicated audio testing equipment on-site for both passive and active audio components, electrical safety and 3-phase testing.
Our Warehouse...
Our warehouse contains complete name brand live production, vision, special FX and AV equipment. It is fully pallet racked & is fully maintained to insure the safety of all our crew. Utilising ramps, mechanical lifts, dollies, team lifts and trolleys we can insure the safety of those loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining at all times our safety policies, SWMS's and procedures.
Our warehouse also features electric hoists enabling the safe lifting and maneuvering of heavy items and equipment.
We also have a fully stocked workshop area with name brand high quality tools including soldering, hand tools, air tools, battery tools, impact wrenches and mechanical equipment from names including Hakko, Milwaukee, Sidchrome and Fluke.
Our warehouse is continually stocked with industry consumables including: effect fluids, tapes, batteries, lamps and various parts to keep up with our work demands.
Our office is equipped with modern technology and IT insuring our customers receive a prompt service without technology downtime it features full internet and phone facilities as well as dedicated back-up systems in the event of power outages.
Corton Audio office uses specialised software from Microsoft, Adobe video editing, MYOB & Harman.
Our office has full meeting facilities including planning, whiteboards and AV equipment. Perfect for all tour planning, event management and band meetings.
Our office features LCD screens for preview monitoring, audio equipment for playback checking, editing PC and full office facilities and amenities. Our office hours are currently via appointment due to the nature of the entertainment and production industry however our team are often on-site during business hours.
From this facility we offer dry-hires, assistance and support across all live production, party hire and technical industries.

Our Vehicle Fleet...
We take a lot of care and undertake a lot of maintenance on our vehicle fleet of both manual and automated transmissions.
Our current fleet consists of diesel generated:
- Mercedes Sprinter vans,
- Toyota Hilux 4WD,
Have been chosen for both reliability, environmental factors and ultimately crew and passenger safety.
How we keep our fleet moving:
Corton Audio's fleet is backed with Ampol as our preferred fuel supplier and we hold an account with this supplier enabling us (and our fleet) to travel the length of the country backed by fuel chains with high quality fuel, fluids & lubricants. This ultimately allows us (and our fleet) to travel, stay and tour anywhere in the country.
Our back-up plan when things happen to go wrong on the roadside...
Corton Audio's fleet is fully covered by RACV commercial roadside assistance because we know that no matter how much maintenance we undertake to try and avoid vehicle downtime things can still go wrong! This allows our vehicles full roadside support in the event of an unexpected breakdown nationally.
Periodic maintenance and national care of our fleet...
Our fleet is fully serviced in compliance with manufacturer recommendations and intervals from authorised VACC service providers. Our vehicles also have the ability of service and repair network facilities across Australia, enabling our vehicles to receive the service, repairs or maintenance wherever they may need in Australia. It's just one way we can try to insure little downtime in our fleet and try to maintain reliability whilst out on the road.
We stock vehicle OBD diagnostic equipment from Foxwell which allows our team the ability to identify vehicle codes and check engine lights to decrease downtime and fault troubleshooting.
What happens prior to a job, gig or show?
Each vehicle is strictly monitored and inspected by our staff prior to each job/travel through an extensive checklist and workshop process covering checking of:
- Vehicle washing and cleaning;
- Oil and fluids (including topping up as required);
- Filter checks and cleaning;
- Jacks and jack equipment;
- Windscreen (and glass condition) and cleaning;
- Tyre air pressure checks (including spare/s);
- Lights & indicator checks;
- Including a full inspection of the vehicle.
- Vehicle engine/computer scanning.
All as part of our job and event preparation process.
We even stock standard filters and parts for our vehicles, again to keep us on the road when you (our clients) rely on our services most!
Remote events and jobs...
As we accept and take on jobs and activities that occur in remote and rural areas (and events considered 'different' or 'non-common') our 4WD fleet has been fitted with accessories to enable us to do so... Including: UHF radio's, Satellite Phones, Personal Locator Beacons, Bull bars, Snorkel, Winch, Scrub bars, Suspension Upgrade & Lift Kit, Mobile antennas, MT tyres, recovery equipment, vehicle spares, chainsaws and remote first aid and fire equipment.

Our business travel often takes us to locations including Melbourne, Bendigo and Albury and by being Shepparton based we are central (within two hours drive) to all of these locations.
